Sounds of Sunday: Ben Blanc - A French Cabaret
Sounds of Sunday is an initiative of Springwood Uniting Church supporting performing artists.
Australian born BEN BLANC presents the culmination of songs by iconic artists such as Edith’s Piaf, Yves Montand and Charles Aznevour and other famous and well know French songs . Even adding a touch of light Opera using the theatrical twist of his unique flute voice falsetto rivalling the most daring sopranos! Ben’s vocal range has been described as ‘extraordinary and amazing by both industry and audience members.
His cabaret shows have included guest performers such as internationally renowned flautist Jane Rutter, dancer Shay Stafford (Moulin Rouge, Lido de Paris) and vocalist Wendy Lee Taylor (Lido de Paris) among others. Initially developed in Paris, it was then taken back to Sydney and Melbourne – notably at the Basement and Camelot Lounge in 2013 and 2016.
He returned to Paris to perform by invitation at the Australian Embassy in 2018

With Ben Blanc on piano accordion and vocals, singing classic French chanson in his own inimitable style accompanied by a full ensemble of musicians who specialize in the genre.
