Come celebrate Julian's first year of freedom (and his 54th birthday: 3rd July) after a long and grueling campaign for truth and freedom.
We thank Julian for his integrity as a revolutionary journalist and publisher. His incredible work creating WikiLeaks, the international library of the 21st century, has made a truly remarkable impact on history.
We also thank Julian for wearing that heart wrenching T-shirt at the Cannes film festival in France. That T-shirt bears the names of over 4000 Palestinian children, murdered by the israeli occupation. On the back of Julian's shirt is a sign saying STOP israel.
We at Melbourne4Assange endeavour to carry Julian and his father John's message as we close down a successful campaign and embark on another...Freedom of the Press.
We wish Julian well in this next phase of his life.
May the force of love and resistance always be with you.
