Commonly Asked Questions:
So, what is a soundscape meditation?
It can be thought of as a meditation experience, using the medium of sound as an anchor for the mind to rest upon.
The sounds are created using various instruments; tibetan bowls, the handpan, chimes, gongs, amongst others.
What happens during a soundscape meditation?
Participants are invited to find a comfortable reclined position for the duration of the experience.
Created in a live setting and lead with intention, they are taken through a journey of sound.
What are the benefits of a soundscape meditation?
The experience can bring a focus on the present moment, creating a sense of calm, relaxation and a shift into the para-sympathetic system [the rest and digest state, bringing the body into harmony].
It is a great tool to induce different brain wave states, moving from Beta (our normal day to day), through Alpha (relaxed attention) and to Theta (dream state).
We look forward to connecting with you.
