Sourdough Starter Workshop at the Village Classroom
Event description
Sourdough Starter Workshop with Kala Riddle
Get started with sourdough in this hands-on class led by sourdough baker Kala Riddle.
You’ll learn how to mix, feed, and care for your very own wild yeast starter—and take it home to continue the fermentation journey. Kala will break down the basics of sourdough science, explain what makes a healthy starter thrive, and help you feel confident about baking with sourdough from scratch.
You’ll leave with your own active starter, a clear understanding of how to keep it thriving at home, and a recipe to put your sourdough discard to good use.
All ages welcome!
Refunds available 1 day prior to event, booking fees are non-refundable.
