South African Expats Meet & Greet - Braai Edition!

After our first event which booked out - Join us for another unforgettable gathering as we come together to celebrate our shared new life here in Aussieland. Whether you've recently moved recently or have been living abroad for years, this event is an opportunity to reconnect with fellow South Africans and make new friends within the local expat community. This time we will make sure to have enough supplies to upkeep the demand for Don pedros :)

Event Highlights:

Introductions: We know how awkward and uncomfortable it can be to go somewhere where you might not know anyone, so our Host Elma will meet you, get you seated and introduce you to other people on the night. Have a chat, enjoy some food or if you really want, you can even do some ceramic painting while chatting away!

Food: Everyone gets a plate of food which includes Pap and Sheba, Braaivleis (BBQ meat), a Sosatie and salad.

Kids Entertainment: Our 0 - 12 years indoor play centre (under supervision by parents) will keep the kids entertained for a little while - meaning the whole family can relax and have some fun

Storytelling and Shared Experiences: Swap stories, anecdotes, and adventures with other South African expats who have navigated the challenges and rewards of living abroad. Share your favourite spots locally and discover new recommendations, tips & advice from fellow attendees.

Networking Opportunities: Forge new connections and expand your social and professional network within the South African expat community. For example, come along and meet The Diamond Tree, a local South African jeweller who knows all about setting up a business here in Australia (and get your jewellery cleaned for FREE on the night!). If you have a business, please let us know in advance and bring along your business cards to share at our communal business brochure table. Whether you're seeking career advice, business opportunities, or simply looking to make new friends, this event is the perfect platform to connect with like-minded individuals.

Location: Mug 'n Brush - 5 Mackinnon street Rockingham. Entrance is from the big carpark area at the back.

Note:
Please reserve your attendance prior to the the evening so that we can organise attendance and catering.

Our bar will be open on the night - within our licenced area (Not the playground section), with normal soft drinks, coffee etc for sale. Please - no outside food or drinks allowed.
Children need to be supervised by a parent and wear socks on the play structure.
