South American-Inspired Arts and Crafts with illustrator Daniela suitable for children 8+
Event description
Learn arts and crafts with a South American flavour with professional illustrator Daniela Franza.
In this workshop, Daniela will guide the children in learning about South America's cultural heritage by introducing them to some of its typical foods, animals and historical sites through a game in which they will use their imagination to create a drawing of these iconic elements.
We will then be inspired by Mapuche art in our latest exhibition, Exilio and learn about one of the most outstanding art traditions of the Mapuche people, yarn weaving.
The children will make their own yarn craft to take home.
One ticket per child is required, accompanying parents/ carers do not require tickets.
Please only book in for the program if you can attend the program.
If you can no longer attend, please be kind and cancel your ticket so other children can attend.
