The New Savages @ Tomerong Hall
Event description
The New Savages play their own kind of blues. It’s a familiar but original sound, somewhere between Jim Morrison playing in an electrified delta blues duo, with a dash of Johnny Cash. They never spend much time in the same place, constantly playing festivals, halls and bars across the continent.
They call this style of music that they play Melbourne Hill Country Blues - as it's their distinctly Melbournian take on the droning, rhythmic and hypnotic sound of the Mississippi Hill Country that their music comes from.
Come and have a dance and a boogie to their hypnotic Melbourne Hill Country Blues sound on Friday the 15th of December at the Tomerong Hall. Doors at 7.
Alcohol is BYO!
Tickets are $16 online or $20 at the door.
Children 12 and under are free.
