South East Career and Try a Trade Expo 2026 - SCHOOLS
Description
South East Career and Try a Trade Expo: Empowering Future Pathways
The South East Career and Try a Trade Expo is an exclusive event designed specifically for secondary school students from Years 9 to 12. This expo offers a unique opportunity for students to engage in interactive activities and gather valuable information about further education, training and employment opportunities.
Throughout the day, school groups will connect with a diverse range of exhibitors, including universities, TAFEs, RTOs (registered training organisations), government agencies and community providers. This broad spectrum of exhibitors ensures that students can explore a variety of pathways and resources tailored to their future aspirations.
One of the highlights of the expo is the opportunity for students to ‘try a trade.’ These hands-on experiences allow students to get a real feel for different trades, helping them make informed decisions about their future careers. Whether it’s plumbing, carpentry, or electrical work, these interactive sessions provide a practical glimpse into the trades industry.
