South East Social Procurement Showcase

Together with our South East Social Procurement Champions Network, we invite you to spend the morning in Melbourne's growing south east, as we showcase some of the local activities and outcomes being driven by our members and others in our region.

Featuring an exciting itinerary across a number of locations including: FSEIH at Chisholm TAFE; the $1.1Bn Frankston Hospital Redevelopment with Exemplar Health, Wallara and partners; community asset maintenance contractors Citywide, Ventia and others in Mornington; and Navaroo’s collaboration with C2A and Acciona on a $3.8M landscaping package in Parkdale.

Indicative Itinerary: You may wish to join for all events as part of the bus tour or come to separate events.

From 8am - we’ll start with a delicious breakfast at Frankston Social Enterprise & Innovation Hub, provided by a local social enterprise where you’ll hear from some of our South East Social Procurement Champions and supporters.

9am - we’ll join Exemplar Health, Wallara and others at the new Peninsula University Hospital to hear about the redevelopment project and future opportunities in operations and maintenance at the hospital.

10:30am - site visit hosted by CityWide, Ventia and others at 140 Watt Road, Mornington to explore social procurement opportunities in community asset maintenance. 

12:00pm - meet at Parkdale Station to hear from Navaroo, C2A and other partners involved in the level-crossing removal project and ongoing landscaping maintenance.

1:00pm - meet back at the Frankston Social Enterprise & Innovation Hub for an optional networking lunch with the South East Social Procurement Champions.
