South West Community Foundation - regional philanthropic forum

You are invited to join South West Community Foundation for the inaugural regional philanthropic forum at Deakin University on Thursday 29 August.

The forum is a gathering for the philanthropic and not-for-profits in south west Victoria to learn, network and engage with others working in the giving sector. Our keynote speaker is Ian Bird, CEO of Community Foundations Australia, with other feature speakers from Philanthropy Australia, the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) and Australian Communities Foundation.

Lunch will be offered from 12pm, with key speakers from 1pm onwards.

The forum is aimed at:

• individual philanthropists;
• the trustees of foundations and trusts;
• staff of philanthropic foundations, trusts, family foundations and community foundations;
• those working in corporate philanthropy, (corporate funding, staff volunteering, workplace giving);
• intermediaries such as financial planners, lawyers and accountants, local government officers and Councillors.
