Building Digital Literacy Skills Workshop
Event description
Great news! After the incredible feedback from our “Be Scam Aware” workshops, we are bringing you something even bigger and better: a brand new four-part digital literacy workshop series, designed to help you make the most of the online world.
10am – 12pm every Thursday in September (4, 11, 18 and 25 September 2025)
Southcare John Hardwick Centre, 19 Pether Road Manning
Morning tea included and free street parking
No charge but RSVP essential
These sessions are designed for anyone aged 50+ who wants to feel safe online. Whether it’s making sure your devices and accounts are set up securely so they don’t unintentionally open up to scams and other vulnerabilities, staying on top of the latest tech trends, or making sure you stay connected to your loved ones while you travel, the online world is one to keep on top of because it is always changing.
Workshops will run every week and are your chance to brush up on your skills, learn new ones and ultimately grow your digital confidence in a relaxed, friendly setting.
All workshops are no charge and you are welcome to attend one, two, three or all four sessions (it’s up to you!) but you must register for each one to secure your seat as places are limited.
