    Ready for an unforgettable weekend of flow and fun? Join us at the Southern Acro Yoga Festival at the picturesque Goolwa Scout Hall. Whether you are a curious beginner or an advanced acro yoga enthusiast, this festival is only for people who are ready for a good time. Dive into workshops, social sessions, therapeutic practises and playful activities. This festival is all about learning, connecting, getting back to nature and having a blast!

    DATE: November Friday 15th - Sunday 17th  2024

    GATES OPEN: Set up your camp site from 1pm Friday and first welcome session begins at 4pm.

    PROGRAM: Included is 10+ workshops and 2 large community special events. Meet and experience masterful teachers and workshop facilitators, who infuse their Acro Yoga with knowledge from the fields of Acrobatics, Human Play, Break Dance, Zen Thai Shiatsu, Gymnastics, Yoga, Contemporary Dance, Pilates and beyond. Each day there is opportunity to choose your workshop preference between a more or less vigorous workshop with . *Full program to be released soon.

    ACCOMMODATION: Included in your ticket is a camping site. Enjoy camping by the river and soaking up nature's beauty. Bring your own camping gear. There is space to park a van or caravan also lots of grassy, flat areas to pitch your tent  *You are of course welcome to explore accomodation off site at your own expense if you prefer. 

    FESTIVAL PASSES: 
    Whole Weekend Camp Pass (including camping & 2 evening meals): $250 Adults $60 Kids

    Friday Half Day Pass 2-5pm: $50 Adult $20 Kids

    Sat or Sunday Day Pass 7-10pm: $100 Adults $40 Kids

    Campsite Address: ‘Goolwa Guide and Scout Hall’, Daniel Street, Goolwa North, South Australia. Please enter through the main gates and park in the carpark near to the main building. You will then be shown the space and facilities and choose where you would like to set up your camp.

    FOOD: Included in your ticket is two delicious vegan dinners made by a wonderful local caterer. Breakfast and lunch is BYO. There is cooking facilities and small fridge available (BYO esky will help with space) and also local supermarkets, cafes and restaurants nearby.

    COST: $250 per Adult /$60 kids & Under 5 free (ticket includes, camping site, 10+workshops & 2 main meals) 

    Utilities: We have access to power at the Goolwa Scout Hall so you will be able to charge your phone or other devices as needed. There are warm showers and toilets inside the hall. Please respect these spaces and keep them clean and tidy.

    KIDS: Yes bring them along! There is plenty of space for kids to play outdoors on the giant scout fort whilst you jam. We will be running a dedicated workshop for kids and opportunities for them to join you in our large community activities.

    ALCOHOL: This is a drug and alcohol free event.

    CONTRIBUTION: There are many things to know to ensure that our campsite community flows well, this is by contributing to small duty tasks. Things like dishes, wiping down tables, making the communal spaces clean and inviting, emptying the bins etc, are going to be vital to the successful vibe of our community. 

    BRING: 

    • tent/swag/van/caravan –(all that you need for unpowered campsite)
    • Sleeping Bag
    • Air mattress and pump
    • Pillow
    • Towel
    • Headtorch
    • Personal hygiene items
    • Clothes to suit all weather conditions (just in case!)
    • Swimming gear (for potential beach or river swims)
    • Yoga Mat
    • Musical Instruments
    • Food for your individual breakfasts, lunches 
    • Hat
    • A good book for relaxing
    • Circus Props 

    This festival is a celebration of the graduates of the 2024 Acro Yoga Teacher Training with Soaring in the South, who are ready and raring to share their exceptional new skills with YOU!
