Draft Murrumbidgee Valley Floodplain Management Plan - Darlington Point Session

Event description

Stage 2 public exhibition: draft Murrumbidgee Valley Floodplain Management Plan

Register now for an appointment with departmental staff to talk about the draft Murrumbidgee Valley Floodplain Management Plan.

The Water Group in the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water has developed a new draft floodplain management plan for the Murrumbidgee Valley Floodplain and is seeking your feedback.

Floodplain management plans set the rules for flood work development on floodplains in rural areas. The rules include what type of flood works can be constructed and where.

Stage 2 public exhibition provides an opportunity for community feedback on the proposed management zones, rules and assessment criteria contained in the draft plan.

Public Exhibition runs from Monday 19 August to Sunday 29 September.
