Southern Highland Waterfall Photography Workshop
Event description
One of the most incredible things about shooting waterfalls is the sheer amount of movement you can create, from your typical blurred water… all the way to advanced compositions with swirling leaves. And of course, when you reach a certain level, you can combine multiple elements of movement in a single shot. You will leave this workshop with plenty of new ideas and techniques for creating movement in your image
What you will learn : Learn how to create silky smooth waterfall images and freeze moving water in your images. You will learn about shutter speed, aperture and some of the equipment and techniques used to capture waterfall images you will be proud of and get you out of auto mode and into manual mode where you have full control.
You will learn about:
-long exposures

What you need bring (if you have it):
Tripod – for most waterfall images this is essential
Circular polarisinig Filter
Neutral Density Filters
Lens cleaning cloth or micro fibre cloth
Wide angle Lens and long zoom lens
Fully charged batteries
Memory cards
Drinking water
Change of socks and shoes (you may get wet)
Swimmers if you like (there may be time for a dip!)
You will also need a medium level of fitness.
Attendees will be picked up and dropped back from Eagle Hawk on the Federal Hwy.
