Space Encounters (LIVE!)
Event description
We are back live for July school holidays!
We are so very excited to be presenting our first LIVE performance since March 2020. Supported by State Opera South Australia, we are dusting off our Space Encounters costumes and set and will be performing the 50-minute fully-staged children's musical these July holidays.
Space Encounters is an interactive family opera created by Sean O’Boyle and Ian McFadyen. You meet and join astronauts Harris and Jefferson, as they set off to an unknown planet in search of the source of a strange signal. On this planet, they meet something or someone they did not expect. With Jefferson’s short temper and Harris’ empathy who knows where the story will go and when Roland the Robot malfunctions will they ever be able to get back home?
