Let's Connect from the Heart and Learn the Art of Courageous Communication and Repair!

"Space Holders" is a fortnightly connection workshop designed to teach the transformative practice of holding space for both oneself and others. This skill is fundamental to nurturing self-awareness and conscious connections, allowing us to explore our feelings, thoughts, and experiences in a compassionate and supportive environment without judgement.

In these sessions, you'll learn the crucial skill of holding space for yourself first, recognising that the way we interact with others often mirrors how we treat ourselves. This process of self-reflection and awareness is vital. It enables you to identify your emotional triggers and understand the parts of your psyche that drive your reactions and behaviours.

By holding space for your internal experiences with curiosity and compassion, you develop a profound connection to your authentic self. When our authentic Self is leading our communication, we move away from more common survival responses like reactivity, judgement, anger, defensiveness, and stonewalling, to embracive responses that are rooted in understanding, openness, vulnerability, and genuine connection. This shift allows us to engage in interactions that are not only more fulfilling but also more constructive and healing for all involved.

What Is Included:

Guided exercises to develop the ability to hold space for oneself and identify personal triggers and parts.
Techniques for creating and maintaining a supportive environment for others.
Training in practical tools for speaking for your parts rather than from your parts, using IFS (Internal Family Systems) and IFIO (Intimacy from the Inside Out).
Exploring the art of Courageous Communication and Repair.
Opportunities for pair and group exercises to practice new communication skills.
A nurturing environment that promotes understanding, safety, and connection.

You Will Leave This Workshop With:

Enhanced self-awareness of your triggers and how they influence your behaviour.

What you Need: Writing materials, different coloured pens, journal, note-taking supplies. A quiet, private space.

About the Series:

"Space Holders" is a workshop series focused on fostering deep personal connections and developing communication skills rooted in self-awareness and mutual understanding. By exploring and speaking for our parts, we create a space where authentic relationships can flourish. Each fortnight, we explore new topics to continuously expand our skills and understanding.

About Tash:

Tash is a trained IFS therapist, specialising in Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO), somatic practices and creative expression. At Path to Self, Tash combines her expertise in psychotherapy with a heartfelt approach to guiding individuals and groups toward deeper self-awareness and enriched relationships. Her workshops offer a safe and supportive environment for exploration, understanding, and healing.
