    Event description

    -tarting your own business isn’t rocket science… is it?

    Having grown 70% to $424B since 2010, the global space industry is expected to become a trillion dollar industry over the next few decades and is capturing the imagination of young people everywhere, but how do you get involved? Whether it be through your own start up that leverages earth observation data or starting your own rocket company, this event is an opportunity to learn from the people that are making the future happen, and identify opportunities that you can capture.

    This event will have the speakers answering a number of defined questions, followed by a Q&A from the audience and concluding with some free drinks and pizza.

    Speakers include:

    • Nicholas Lindsay, Chief of Staff at Gilmour Space and previous Director of Spaceship Production at SpaceX
    • Professor Stuart Phinn, Director of Earth Observation SmartSAT CRC, Remote Sensing Research Centre and Reef Science Partnership
    • Andrew Uscinski, CEO and Co-Founder of Valiant Space
