It’s been 2 years since Space Jams’ award winning South Coast Tour, and now it’s back with a variation on the theme - WEST COAST TOUR 2023! Space Jams has been flat out in the interim, staging multiple shows in 2022 and taking out the SA Music Award for “Best Small Festival/Event” second year running. But the love of a beach-soaked tour along SA’s stunning coastline is just too appealing to back down from a sequel.

The WEST COAST TOUR will be headlined by soul-reggae powerhouse Dojo Rise who have recently come off sold out East Coast tour slots, multiple appearances at Woodford Folk Festival as well as whipping the October Space Jams crowd into a dub-fused dance pit with their incredible headline slot. Joining the tour bus will be disco/acid-jazz/house tastemakers Hartway, indie energisers Hey Harriett (in trio form), DJ Wanmore on the 1’s and 2’s, the earthy sounds of James Moor, and the introduction of Space Jams DJ’s!

The tour kicks of with a… wait for it… TOUR LAUNCH PARTY (the originality is damning) at Myponga’s gorgeous cafe, Valley Of Yore on April 9. This will be a special once-off “unplugged” showcase featuring Dojo Rise, Hey Harriett, Lickity Split, Jamie Lena and James Moor performing stripped back sets as well as Goliath performing vinyl DJ sets. Apr 14, 15 and 16 takes the tour to Ceduna Hotel, Port Kenny Hotel and Hotel Boston (Pt Lincoln) respectively. Eyre Peninsula artists Alice Haddy, Jo Page & Brody Burrows and BONKERS will join various lineups.
