Space Time!
Event description
Now is humanity's best time to discover space. These school holidays, experience the sublime new photos from the James Webb, Euclid and other mind-bending space telescopes on an immersive sound and projection system in a deep space bunker.
See a rocket take-off, then look through pinholes in the sky to the beginning of the universe. That's right, look through time with massive images of planets, nebulae, blackholes and millions of galaxies. Some are just like our own and one is the shape of a question mark (actually).
In the last few weeks and months, mind-warping space imagery has beamed back to Earth. Don't just see it on your phone: experience it in high resolution and go on a softly philosophical journey through spacetime - back over 13 billion years, and bending all the way back to ourselves. Seeing outer space somehow also aligns our inner space.
This is an easy-going, beautiful experience for everyone to enjoy. Sit, walk, come and go as you please - step into space this July.
