Space Time!! Bright Stars
Event description
After a successful event in the Winter school holidays, Space Time is back with Episode 2!!
Now with more images from the James Webb Space Telescope, and more ways to engage with the program.
Bright Stars is a soft and vibrant tour through space on The Vault's immersive sound and projection system. This version is ideal for kids under 8 and softer souls, with comfy seating and room to run around. For those wanting a deeper experience, you'll love Space Time!! Darker Matter.Â
Don't worry about times too much, any ticket works for any show or time, they are all the same price and the slots just give you options. The ticket link shows the 150+ session options across 12 days.Â
Come and experience the sublime new photos from the James Webb, Euclid and other mind-bending space telescopes on an immersive sound and projection system in a deep space bunker. See a rocket take-off, then look through pinholes in the sky to the beginning of the universe. That's right, look through time with massive images of planets, nebulae, blackholes and millions of galaxies. Some are just like our own and one is the shape of a question mark (actually).
In the last few weeks and months, mind-warping space imagery has beamed back to Earth. Don't just see it on your phone: experience it in high resolution and go on a softly philosophical journey through spacetime - back over 13 billion years, and bending all the way back to ourselves. Seeing outer space somehow also aligns our inner space.
Now is humanity's best time to discover space.Â
