SPACEJUNK is bringing their JUNKTIME ALBUM LAUNCH TOUR to an undisclosed backyard in Balnarring on the Mornington Peninsula - FRIDAY JULY 4th with local support Dirt Road Wave.

A text message to reveal the location will be sent on the morning of the event. There will be cover should it rain and fires to keep us warm.

What to expect:

48hrs before the event, you will receive the location of the show via email. You’ll be welcomed at the back gate and your ticket will be checked in. BYO drinks (cans preferably), warm clothes and your lust for garage, (or this case backyard) punk rock.

The Album:

JUNK TIME was created across the COVID winter/ lost years of 2020-2023 – equal parts post hardcore fury and burn out riffage, JUNK TIME has one eye on the impending apocalypse and the other on the minutiae of everyday existence - slow-moving traffic, frivolous scene politics, old kinds of kicks, irrational arachnophobia, hang-xiety induced paranoia and the final mindless descent.

Recorded and mixed by Max Ducker at Cellar sessions in Coburg (BATPISS, DEAD, LUNATIC, AFFORDABLE REPAYMENTS) and mastered in San Francisco by John Paul McBain (WELLWATER CONSPIRACY, HATER, MONSTER MAGNET, DESERT SESSIONS, QOTSA) JUNK TIME is SPACEJUNK’s strongest offering to date, featuring singles "Beard of Spiders", "Mud Drip" and "Traffic Sewer" the band build upon their proto-punk framework and push out into wider sonic textures and deep space claustrophobia.
