After touring her sell-out show 40+Fabulous and hearing from women nationwide, Emma Krause couldn’t help but wonder... why are we still sucking it all in.. our bodies, our ambitions.. our burnout?

Welcome to Spanx and the City — a cocktail of perimenopause, a dash of raising teenagers, and a splash of pressure to keep it cute, calm, and composed (preferably in Lycra).

Between sips, Emma’s tried adult netball (never again), as her smug friend Jenny enters her protein + CrossFit era. Meanwhile, Emma’s been dating again — aka nodding through conversations about ribs, Joe Rogan, and jetskis.

About Emma Krause

After turning 40, Emma burst onto the Perth comedy scene in 2017, making her way to two State RAW Comedy Grand Finals. In 2019, she became a finalist in Channel Seven’s Australia’s Got Talent, launching her career in comedy.

Known for her role as Sue Finley in the Oz Lotto ads, Emma also toured nationally with the comedy trio The Motherhood, delighting audiences across the country.

In 2024, she debuted her first solo show 40+FABULOUS at Fringe World Perth, delivering an extraordinary 22-show run that sold out completely. Her standout performance earned her two prestigious awards, including WA’s Best Comedy.

Riding on this success, she toured the show to sold-out audiences across WA, solidifying her status as a powerhouse in the comedy scene and being awarded WA’s Silver Comedy Doustie Award.

In 2025, her show received further acclaim when Broadway Perth announced it as the overall winner for Best Solo Performer of the year. Now, in 2026 she's touring her BRAND NEW SHOW - Spanx and the City!
