Spark your creativity with Mixed Media is a journey into ATC (Artists Trading Cards).

This workshop is designed to be a fun filled and playful event where participants explore and experiment.

Artist Trading Cards are small pieces of art that have been created to allow people to own art that is fun, creative, small and affordable.
They are traded internationally and anyone can make them.

The cards have to be the same size as collectable cards. The only rule for ATC is the size: 6.85 cm x 8.90 cm.

They are perfect for anyone wanting to learn and experiment with mixed media.

In the workshops I use different technics to create vibrant and creative effects.

To create your set of cards you will learn the use of mixed media including;

-Acrylics

-Posca Pens

-Stencils

-Collage

-Modeling paste

-Poetry

-Inks

-Stamping

All material is provided.

Join us at the end of the session to further connect to this arts community with a mug of warm Chai and a shared plate.

In my workshop, everyone creates 9 cards!!!

At the end of the session, we do a "Swap". We keep 1-2 of those of our favourite cards and exchange with the other participants at the workshop.

Where do ATC come from?

The ATC card movement started in 1997 when a Swiss artist, Vancy Stirmann, initiated the collaborative performance artist trading cards which became a worldwide success.

He created a collection of 1200 cards by hand as part of an exhibition. On the last day the public was invited to create cards and swap with him during the closing reception.

Today, people from almost all the major city of the world attend swaps regularly in person and online.
