What to Expect

Get ready for an afternoon of fun & festive cheer as we come together to celebrate another wonderful year of community and friendship. You’ll be welcomed with a drink on arrival, enjoy shared nibbles, and take part in a hands-on earring-making experience hosted by a beautiful local business.

You’ll get to create two pairs of earrings - keep them both or give as a gift!

It’s the perfect blend of creativity, connection, and festive sparkle.

Our event is hosted at one of our awesome local sponsor venues - Comuna Cantina Newstead, who are looking after us with a range of yummy food and drinks!

Who It’s For

This event is for our local mums of all ages and parenting stages who deserve an afternoon out to relax, connect, and celebrate the end of the year with good company and creative fun.

Whether you come solo or with friends, you’ll leave with new connections and a big smile (& some cool jewellery!)

Time: 3pm - 5pm
Location: Comuna Cantina, Newstead, 27 Cunningham Street, Newstead - Another one of our awesome sponsors!
Tickets: Early Bird price - $55; General Admission - $70.

Early Bird tickets are limited to 20 people only. Gather your mum friends and secure your ticket early.

• Light refreshments are provided during the event. For more substantial food & meals, check out their menu here: https://comunacantina.com.au/menu/

• Extra food and drinks can be purchased at your own expense at Happy Hour prices which commences at 4pm.

• A What's App group will be created so we can discuss travel arrangements for those who wish to share the journey. The cross river ferry is an option!

Here's what we do to ensure you feel as comfortable as possible at Social Mums Club Events…

• We have really clear signage, and the host wears a bright pink t-shirt or dress so you can easily spot us - you don't have to worry that you might be in the wrong place or with the wrong group

• Our events are never cliquey - the ladies at the event are usually meeting for the very first time, so you will not be the only person who doesn't know anyone

• We ensure you feel included - another fear is that nobody will talk to you or you'll feel awkward or different. Our hosts are experts at making every attendee feel welcome and included. You will feel at ease with us.

• You can come early - we know the hardest part about turning up to an event is walking in. We invite anyone who is anxious to reach out to the host and turn up 15 minutes early so you are the first one there. You can sit next to the host too.
