Spatial Harmonies

Experience the music of des Prez, Victoria, Pärt, Whitacre, and Tavener as Re:Soundings, A Choral Music Project reimagines choral music performance. On October 15, 2024, join us at St. Mary the Virgin on West 46th Street for an immersive concert where 16 professional voices, under the direction of Stephen Sands, transform the space with stunning harmonies and spatial effects. Don't miss this unique musical journey!

This inaugural concert not only showcases a wide range of repertoire spanning centuries but also incorporates unique spatial arrangements, improvisational elements, and interactive moments that distinguish it from a conventional choral presentation. The performance space itself plays a critical role, with the ensemble’s positioning and movement throughout St. Mary the Virgin enhancing the music’s impact and drawing the audience into the unfolding narrative.

Tickets can be purchased ahead here on our Humanitix page for $30 + the addition of a small booking fee, which is reflected in the displayed pricing. A portion of the booking fee is donated to charities that help disadvantaged children all over the world get access to education, healthcare and life's basic necessities. Please note that advance ticket sales will end at 11:59 PM on October 14, after which time tickets can be purchased at the door for $40 each via cash or credit card when doors open at 6:30 PM.
