SpeakEasy 9 - Small Moments
Description
Join us for SpeakEasy 9, a thought-provoking and entertaining speaking event featuring speakers from Australia and India sharing stories of Small Moments that made a big difference.
We rarely notice them at the time - a passing comment, a chance discovery, a quiet decision, a brief pause before saying yes or no. But it's often these small moments, not the big dramatic turning points, that end up shaping who we become. SpeakEasy 9 - Small Moments brings together six speakers from around the world to share the seemingly minor instances that left a lasting mark, revealing how the smallest things can carry the greatest weight.
SpeakEasy Speaking Events are more than just talks - they are immersive, social experiences. Held monthly on Sunday afternoons, they offer a relaxed and welcoming space to:
Hear thought-provoking and engaging speakers
Reflect on ideas that challenge your thinking
Connect with a diverse and open-minded community
Continue the conversation over light snacks and informal networking
Have fun!
Whether you come to listen, to learn, or simply to meet interesting people, you'll leave with new perspectives - and perhaps a fresh appreciation for the small moments in your own life.
Seats are limited and these events consistently fill quickly. Secure your place now and be part of the conversation - not just an observer of it. You can attend in-person or free on Zoom.
Join us on Sunday, October 4th.
Everyone has a story. What's yours?

Faisal Niaz
Faisal is a LegalTech Consultant and Director with 15+ years helping top-tier law firms navigate AI and technology transformations, writing on LinkedIn about leadership, career reinvention, and making AI practical and ethical. A father of three, he's working toward a personal goal: the TED stage – driven by a belief that a clear idea, delivered well, can change someone's life. Inspired early on by motivational speakers who changed the course of his own life, Faisal wants to create that same ripple for others through writing and speaking. He's been a colleague and friend for years, and one of the most determined people I know – always stretching himself to grow. I've seen him inspire and inform in work presentations, and I can't wait to see what he does today.

Dushyant Tara
Dushyant is a Product and Data Partnerships Lead based in Sydney, working at the intersection of AI, media, and human decision-making. By profession, he builds systems that help businesses make smarter choices; by inclination, he's drawn to the quieter question beneath it all – how people think, connect, and find meaning in a noisy world. Having moved to Australia in recent years, his perspective blends cultures, experiences, and a constant sense of reinvention. His talks explore the tension between ambition and identity, technology and humanity, and the subtle moments that shape who we become. When he's not building products, he's refining the craft of storytelling – turning everyday observations into narratives that linger a little longer than expected.
