A safe, fun and informative space
Franklie provided a safe, fun and informative space for my 8 year old daughter to explore the topics and ask questions, I would thoroughly recommend attending!

A fun, practical, age-aware workshop for children aged 8+ and their parent or trusted adult to practise speaking up, setting boundaries, saying no, and asking for help.

An informative, supportive workshop that really helped to open up discussions in our family and create a support network for my daughter and her friends.
Consent is already part of children’s everyday lives.
It shows up when someone wants a hug. When play gets too rough. When a friend keeps asking after hearing no. When a child changes their mind. When something feels uncomfortable, but they are not sure what to say.
These are skills children can start practising now, before the stakes get higher.
Speaking Franklie About Consent is a fun, interactive workshop where children and their trusted adult learn and practise these skills together.
This isn’t a two-hour talk about consent. Children will have lots of opportunities to use their voice, make choices, change their mind, hear no, respond respectfully and find the words to ask for help.
This workshop is for all genders.
Together, children and adults will explore:
what consent and boundaries look like in everyday life
how to speak up, change your mind and ask for help
how to notice body clues and check in when something changes
how to hear no, respect boundaries and respond when you get it wrong
privacy, secrets, surprises and growing independence
Franklie brings children and trusted adults into the same room so families can build the language together.
Adults are part of the workshop too.
You’ll practise asking, listening, setting boundaries and accepting no alongside your child, giving you shared words and experiences to keep using at home long after the workshop finishes.
The aim is simple: to help children feel more confident using their voice, and more capable of listening when someone else uses theirs.
practical language for speaking up and setting boundaries
experience practising how to hear and accept no
simple tools for noticing body clues and checking in
a clearer understanding of privacy, secrets, surprises and getting help
shared language to keep the conversation going at home
Children aged 8+ and their parent, carer or trusted adult.
All genders are welcome.
No prior knowledge is needed. The workshop is designed to make these conversations practical, calm, fun and easier to continue at home.

That is completely normal.
There is no pressure to speak in front of the group. The session is designed to feel welcoming and low-pressure, and anonymous questions are included so everyone can participate in a way that feels comfortable.
Lots of activities (and fun!).
This is a practical, interactive workshop using games, movement, scenarios, voice practice, discussion and role play.
Children and adults will practise the skills together, not just talk about them.
Not at all.
You don’t need to have the perfect words or know exactly how to explain consent before coming.
The workshop is designed to build language and confidence for children and adults together.
