    This event will explore the profound perspectives emerging from the South on vital issues like inequality, climate change, and colonialism.

    • 9:45am-11:30am: Roundtable One “Southern Epistemologies”, speakers include Denise deCaires Narain, Isaac Ndlovu, Uhuru Phalafala, Aretha Phiri, and Eugenia Flynn, and Chair Stephen Muecke. 
    • 11:30am-12:00pm: Morning Tea
    • 12:00pm-1:30pm: Roundtable Two “Oceans, Water, Fire”, speakers include Nienke Boer, Charne Lavery, Daniel Yon, Tony Hughes D’Aeth, Elleke Boehmer, and Chair Mandy Treagus.
    • 1:30pm-2:30pm: Lunch
    • 2:30pm-4:00pm: Keynote speaker Sarah Nuttall and Chair Elleke Boehmer. 
    • 4:00pm-4:30pm: Afternoon Tea
