Speak Out Youth Discussion - Mackay
Event description
ABOUT THE DISCUSSION
Are you a young person aged 13 to 25 years? Join a group of passionate young people at the Speak Out Youth Discussion on Saturday, 29 January 2022 in Mackay.
We want to hear your thoughts about the environment, education, housing, consent and other issues affecting you and your local community.
Lunch, afternoon tea and snacks will be provided for all participants.
The discussion will be split into 3 sections:
- Having your Say: Tell us how you’d like Government to engage with you.
- Environment: Tell us what you’d like Government to focus with regards to the Environment.
- Your Community: This is a broad section where we'll discuss issues impacting your community. Some examples have been housing affordability, mental health, discrimination and consent.
If you're aged 13 to 25 years and have something to share, book your free ticket today. There are only a limited number of tickets available!
