Special Olympics WA – Swimming Program – Term 2, 2025

Who:
Special Olympics is a global movement that provides sports programs for people with intellectual disabilities. Our programs focus on inclusion, building confidence, and creating opportunities for athletes to develop skills, make friends, and have fun in a supportive environment.
This program is for people with intellectual disabilities who enjoy swimming and want to improve their skills while having fun.

What:
A 9-week swimming program! Join us to practice swimming techniques, meet new friends, and stay active in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

When:
- Every Tuesday during school term
9 Sessions - Cancellation 29 April (Coach unavailability)
- Starts on Tuesday, 06 May, and ends Tuesday, 01 July
- Time: 7:15 PM to 8:30 PM

Where:
Craigie Leisure Centre
751 Whitfords Ave, Craigie, WA 6025
50m Outdoor Pool

Why:
To improve swimming skills, stay active, and enjoy being part of a fun and supportive community.

How Much:
$120 for 9 weeks ($13.30 per session) + booking fee.

What to Bring:
- Swimsuit, towel, and goggles.
- A water bottle to stay hydrated.
- Any personal swim aids or equipment you typically use.

Please note, this is a swim squad training, and participants must be able to swim minimum 50m unassisted.
