Fabled is thrilled to welcome author/illustrator duo, Brad and Rachel Davidson to discuss their newest picture book, I Like Your Face. They will be joining us for a special story time on Wednesday, November 12th at 10:30AM.

About the Book:

A young boy shares what it feels like to have a best friend by telling his friend how much he likes his face and all the reasons why. His friend’s face is so special he could spot it anywhere, even in a crowd of a million-gazillion people. He knows all the faces his friend makes, like his ”Silly Face“ and his ”Holding-in-a-Fart Face.“ And his friend knows all his faces, too, like his ”I’m-There-For-You Face.“ Because when you have a best friend, you’re never alone.

Brad Davidson’s charming text pairs beautifully with Rachel Más Davidson’s funny, heartwarming illustrations to create a lively picture book that celebrates the joys of true friendship. With different emotions represented on every page, the book is a wonderful tool for social-emotional learning and for helping children recognize facial expressions – a key stage of early childhood development. About the Author/Illustrators:

Brad Davidson is an educator and children's book author who lives with his family in Texas. His debut picture book, Pocket Full of Sads, was created in collaboration with his wife, illustrator Rachel Más Davidson. When he's not crafting stories, Brad is working with students to help them find their voices through the power of writing.

Rachel Más Davidson is the author-illustrator of many books for young readers, including I Love You Mucho Mucho and The Helping Sweater. She is also the illustrator of Pocket Full of Sads, which she created in collaboration with her husband, author Brad Davidson. Rachel lives with her family in Texas.
