ABOUT THE BOOK: We Do Not Part by Nobel Prize-winning author Han Kang. This book tells Kyungha, who travels to Jeju Island to care for a friend's beloved bird. Through this journey, the novel explore their two-decade-long friendship, personal grief, and South Korea's historical traumas, weaving a poignant story of loss resilience, and enduring bonds.
GUEST: Paige Morris, translator of We Do Not Part and Kate Evans, co-host of ABC Radio National's weekly review program and anchor of The Bookshelf.
