Spectrum: Opening Night
Event description
Presented as part of MUDfest 2025, Spectrum brings together the work of sixteen student artists from the University of Melbourne, spanning painting, sculpture, video, and installation.
Join us for Opening Night — an evening of art, conversation, and celebration. This is your chance to experience the exhibition firsthand while enjoying free food and drinks, meeting the artists, and connecting with fellow creatives. Whether you're here to support a friend, discover new perspectives, or simply explore the visual arts, Spectrum offers the perfect space to engage, reflect, and be inspired.
The exhibition responds to this year’s festival theme, Refraction: One Self, Many Reflections, and highlights the rich diversity of student practice. Rather than following a single narrative, these works embrace a wide range of materials, processes, and points of view.
✨ Don’t forget to bring your photo ID to enjoy some drinks on us!
Come celebrate the opening of Spectrum and be part of an evening that honours experimentation, expression, and student creativity.
