FAQs
I’m a bloke – is this really for me?
A: Absolutely! Anyone can join in the celebration; the more, and diverse, the merrier.
Can we sit together?
A: Rather than being a seated event, this High Tea is served cocktail style so that you can meet and mingle with others. Fear not – if your feet get tired there will be chairs and tables, however seating bookings are not required.
What are the prizes?
A: We are still finalising silent auction and door prizes and will announce more information soon. Don't forget to follow our Facebook event to keep up to date with prizes. The auction will be conducted on the day with bids closing during the event.
Is this a fundraising event?
First and foremost, this is an inclusive community event where all are welcome to join in the fun. Having said that, any funds raised enable our Women’s Council to continue to grow and support the next generation of young women on the spectrum. Women and girls find it harder to get a diagnosis and are often diagnosed later in life which can lead to unique challenges. Raising awareness is an important part of the work the Women’s Council do and we want to ensure they can keep doing it!
