We have all been through a tremendous period of time where dating seems to have been on the back burner as we navigated our way through lockdown after lockdown, creating psychological unspoken wounds.

NOW is the time to come out of our shells. Out from behind the screens. Out of useless apps that waste time, effort, energy and not to mention money for the premium versions to switch the algorithm up to show more potential matches.

A light hearted and fun evening designed to get you out of your cave, and into the throws of connecting, socialising and having more first dates in one evening than you possibly could in months!

Taking us back in time, when we had more time, to go out, flirt, and speak to those who tickled our fancy.

To kick off a range of different Speed Dating themes, ranges, genres The Original Love Elixir events brings you the 37’s to 53’s.

It is a warm and welcoming space to reignite that first date adrenaline, meet new people, create new friendships, remember how to be flirtatious and to be open to the boom and spark of the possibility of love.

WHO IS THIS FOR:

• Man meets Woman / Woman meets Man
• 37 – 53 age group
• Singles. Single Parents.
• Those who have healed from their past relationships
• The prospect of meeting someone to grow into relationship with.
  

WHO THIS IS NOT FOR:

• Married Men or Women
• Poly or Open Relating Men or Women
• Those who have just come out of a relationship – do your work. Heal.
• Looking to slip straight into bed (there’s an app, or three, for that…)
• Leaky. Sexual. Energy.
• Those who are not sure if they want a relationship or not
• Sounds heavy, but we want to be clear so our guests can be clear
  

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?

• To meet Men or Women of the opposite sex
• Be guided through the process
• Have que cards with questions to break the ice
• Be provided with a character sheet of the Men/Women attending
• A match card to return to your host – if the Men/Women you tick as wanting to connect with match, then boom, you get sent their contact details

• The venue to stay open to continue to connect after the speed dating component has concluded

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

• Show up
• Be on time!
• Complete the basic questions for your character card – much like a profile you would complete to activate those apps…
• Spread the word to your family and friends who are single
• Be presentable – first impressions count!
• Break open your heart to the compassion and kindness within it to experience a range of different Men/Women who you would never have had the opportunity to meet unless you were here
• Be willing to participate and enjoy the night
  

Men, for some reason, find it more challenging to come along to these in person events. Stepping out from behind the screen and keyboard is an epic display of the trust associated with attending.  For this reason, Women who book a ticket with one of their Men friends have priority ticketing. For obvious reasons, we need a balanced number of Men and Women attending. This is your time to shine.

WHERE?
Casa de Playa: 39 Main Street, Mornington 3931
(Upstairs in a private function space)

TIME?
Doors open at 7:00pm for a 7:30pm start.
Venue closes at 10:30pm.

AGE GROUP?
37 – 53 : this is a fixed age range unless your birthday lands very close to the date of the event!

FOOD?
You are most welcome to make a dinner reservation in the restaurant prior to the event.
On arrival, you will be served a delicious plate of Chicken and Chorizo Paella. (There is a vegan option available by request).
Extra food may be purchased from the menu up to 9:30pm if you’re feeling peckish!

DRINKS?
Tickets include a free drink on arrival: Sangria, House Wine, Carlton Draught on tap (schooner), and soft drink.
There may even be a delicious heart opening cup of hot cacao by our own Original Love Elixir Cacao.

RSVP?
Ticket sales will be open up to midday on the previous day of the event (tickets close 12:00pm Wednesday 20th July)

PARKING?
There are close by car parks and street parking available for you.

ATTIRE?
Dress to express. There are no limits. A baseline is smart casual, so leave the trainers at home, grab your iron to press your shirts and remember less is more when it comes to perfumes…. and colognes.

ABOUT THE HOST:
Rebeccah Élise Meldrum has spent her entire corporate career as a connector. Having journeyed through the roles of Business Development Manager, and into Agency Recruitment and Personal Coaching she is a behavioural profiler, coach, connector and matchmaker. She has created many, many events over her career and is excited to be stepping into the realms of Matchmaker and Speed Dating to fully express her capacities and gifts in this area.

Rebeccah also runs Women’s circle, designed to bring Women home, home to their hearts and home to the only frequency of love. In these events, she focuses on Women learning more about themselves, so that they are equipped to once more step into a relationship that their heart desires from an empowered space of knowing who they are and what they want.  The Women also learn about their roles they play in relationship and how to stop emasculating men, allowing for less broken men to be available in the dating realms and create conscious, loving relationships.

FAQ’s

• Tickets are non-refundable. That means you show up. Show your commitment. And show how you do life. You may transfer them to a same sex friend - you need to contact us so we can update the character card! 
• There are Vegan options available for vegetarians and vegans, or those who just don’t like Chicken or Chorizo!
• You are sent a message on the Friday with the people who have selected to develop a friendship with you, or who are looking to connect one-on-one for a date with the prospect of discovering whether there is a spark to journey into relationship. Just in time for weekend romance!
• You are 55 and want to come along? There will be another event for you so hold tight!
• You are 35 and want to come along? Again, there will be another event for you so hold tight!
• Age range is firm (You’ll have three months each side of the age range to slide on into this event)
• YES – these are monthly events so if you find that you would like to come back and meet new Men or Women you are most welcome.
• YES – there will be other age categories being launched
• YES – there will (most likely) be a “Tradies and Ladies” evening!
• YES – there will (most likely) be an event for the entrepreneurs amongst us who have unique idiosyncrasies and lifestyles
