Speed Networking for Purpose-Driven Businesses | B Local Melbourne
Event description
With the launch of B Local Melbourne, we aim to bring to create a B Local community and take our do-gooding to the next level. B Local Melbourne is a community of B Corp volunteers who work to lead the overall health, growth and positive impact of the purpose-driven business community.
In the lead up to B Corp Month in July, we want to bring all the B Corps in Melbourne together. We want everyone to be familiarised with one another and start thinking about how we can make the most of the inside-out celebration of B Corps during B Corp Month.
Join us for a night of structured speed networking and open networking co-hosted by BlueRock. You’ll have the opportunity to share your story with 10 or more new people through your speed networking rounds. We will be giving everyone to catch up for more information and to share details in our open networking at the end! And you’re free to exchange details to pick up the conversation later.
The night will bring together members of the B Corp and social impact communities. From start-ups with a dream to global organisations with lessons to share, all conscious business people are welcome!
We're all trying to do good, why not try and do it together!
What to Expect
We have limited the tickets to 60 to create an awesome and engaged crowd. On the night, we will have drinks and light snacks available on entrance and later for the open networking session.
On arrival, we will have open networking, followed by the structured speed rounds, and followed by more open networking! Each round will take 5 mins one on one, 2 mins per side, then 1 minute for details exchange and change over. Follow the instructions and you’ll be fine.
We will provide some opening questions on the night, so you wont be stuck for words.
What to Bring?
Bring your ticket (so we can check you in). Bring your awesome smiling self, a great attitude, and some business cards.
