ARTiculate: Speed Networking for Creatives + End of Year Celebration
Event description
You are invited to a special end of year event to meet fellow creatives in Ipswich and help encourage collaboration and support from across community.
Your ticket will include:
- A brilliant speed networking activity run by the incredible Dr Louise Mayhew
- A performance under the stars by local stars Tom Thum and Paulina
- Live painting by members of Ipswich Artist Initiative
- A free drink on arrival and a selection of canapes (drinks will be available for purchase)

About Louise:
Dr Louise R Mayhew is an Australian Feminist Art Historian. Following a decade teaching art history at universities, she mentors emerging creatives and freelances as an art writer and editor. Louise is endlessly excited about art, and believes that all creatives deserve enthusiastic, accessible, goal-oriented support.
About Ipswich Arts Advisory Group:
Ipswich Arts Advisory Group (IAAG) is a collective of volunteer community members who have a passion for the development and growth of the creative community in Ipswich. IAAG is a key deliverable of the Creative Industries Action Plan with the objective to:
- advance arts and culture across Ipswich Local Government Area
- contribute ideas and recommendations on key arts and cultural portfolios of Ipswich City Council
- actively network and build connections and opportunities for Ipswich creatives
- provide structure through which aspirations of the Ipswich arts and creative community can be articulated to Council.
This event is part of Ipswich City Council's creative industries development program ARTiculate. Attendees are to be residents of Ipswich Local Government Area, workshop fees have been subsidised by Ipswich City Council.
