About the Speakers

Saalihah Seedat

Clinical Pharmacist, My Health for Life Coach/Facilitator, Mentor, Speaker

Saalihah Seedat is a Consultant Clinical Pharmacist, social entrepreneur, philanthropist, and mentor with a passion for leadership and social issues. Balancing her career and family life as a mother of three, she conducts medication reviews in the community sector, works part-time in a private hospital, and facilitates the My Health for Life program. Saalihah, a personal development and wellbeing specialist, attributes her success to her supportive husband, who has been her biggest cheerleader since their migration from Southern Africa to Australia in 2002. Her voluntary work includes roles with Share the Dignity initiatives, Skilling Queenslanders for Work programs and organising Breast Cancer fundraising events for the Crescents of Brisbane. She has sponsored a National Council of Women Queensland (NCWQ) bursary for an emerging female leader from a culturally diverse background. Saalihah has mentored in the AIS Sports Collective and serves as a Global Sisters Momentum Coach. Most recently, she has been featured in the Queensland Women and Girls' Health Strategy 2032 and has co-authored "She Inspires Leaders" with the Global Women Success project. Antonella Spatola

Antonella Spatola is an international primary violence prevention educator, and the visionary behind Wisdom for Women and the founder of True To You Charity.

With over 20 years of experience, she blends her background in psychology, conflict resolution, Wing Chun Kung Fu, The Enneagram and Empowerment Self Defence (ESD) to teach life-changing skills to girls and women globally.

She pioneered ESD in the Asia-Pacific region and continues to mentor instructors worldwide, promoting violence prevention using evidence based and trauma informed approaches. Her signature programs, “Where Self Defence Meets Self Discovery”, Antonella offers a truly empowering and transformational experience unlike any other self defence program.

Programs are experiential integrating physical, verbal, emotional and psychological tools, providing practical skills for setting boundaries, de-escalating conflict, and staying safe with familiars and strangers in everyday situations.

Antonella has taught the Department of Education, The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in the Philippines with The Ministry of Youth, women exiled from Myanmar and female change agents from over 14 Asian countries. In Australia she teaches in schools, community groups and her programs are funded by Logan City Council KRANK and Active and Healthy programs.

Antonella is committed to making her transformative content accessible and relevant to women and organisations seeking genuine empowerment needing effective violence prevention strategies.
