SPICYMUSIC 10th Bday Church Rave

Celebrate 10 years of SPICYMUSIC & techno in Tasmania this November long weekend on Saturday 1st November 2025 -- The SPICYMUSIC 10th Birthday edition will be a milestone celebration of music, art, our underground community, & subculture all combined in one of the most iconic spaces we have ever used - The Church @ 11 Frederick St, Launceston.

Welcoming back to SPICYMUSIC one of the most influential artists of the trance and techno community, DJ & producer from Vienna, Austria, Alpha Tracks!

Vienna’s Felix Benedikt, the artist behind Alpha Tracks, launched the project in 2016 after emerging under the guidance of the Cheap Records crew. Known for his rave-inspired sound blending Trance, fast tempos, and atmospheric experimentation, he produces live on analogue machines for a raw and dynamic edge. With releases on UTE Records, Blue Hour, RPM, and his own sublabel Morbid, Alpha Tracks has performed at renowned venues including Berghain, Bassiani, and Inota, establishing himself as a leading figure in contemporary techno and trance.

Bringing back one of Australia’s most loved and unique techno/trance artists and who we feel is a beloved part of the spicy family, Laura King!

Laura King has been one of the leading acts in the Australian Electronic scene for the past 10 years - with this kind of experience under her belt a distinguished and original sound has emerged.
Paving the way in the underground scene and emerging as a true star. Her sound is anchored by techno and rave energy, merging new elements of contemporary hard dance, psychedelic techno, prog-trance, tribe and all things fast, quirky and bottom heavy.

Making his Tassie debut, we have Narrma (Melb) dj & producer Jacy Moon!

Jacy delivers euphoric, bouncy sounds driven by big synths and thumping low-end grooves, blending the faster, harder edges of techno, trance, and 90s Goa. Inspired by artists like Alpha Tracks, Anetha, and Gaston Fiore, his music is distinctive, playful, and authentic. He has supported international names including Thomas Schumacher, Alex Stein, Mark Blair, and Charlie Sparks, with his own tracks gaining support from Laura King, Hasvat Informant, Gaston Fiore, Vel, Uberkikz, and Odymel.
