"Simply Wine" Wine Tasting

An immersive wine education event showcasing some of the best low-intervention winemaking from Australia and around the world. Spill Wine owner and sommelier Jamie Fleming will be joined by Gaby Fury from Grafted Wines and Lilly Heenan from Lo-Fi Wines. Lilly was previously head sommelier at Agnes restaurant, Brisbane, and Gaby was a powerhouse at Sydney stalwart Continental Deli. Both their wine knowledge is unparalleled!
With three sommeliers in the room, they will discuss the ins and outs of natural winemaking and go through what makes a great “natty” wine, what pitfalls the consumer should be looking for when buying something a little left of center, and of course, the benefits of supporting bio-dynamic producers.
Spill Wine has built a reputation for supporting small, boutique food and wine producers from near and far. Like them, we want to increase awareness about what and how we consume and are dedicated to drinking and eating better.
The event will include a guided wine tasting through 6 wines from Australia and beyond, accompanied by canapes showcasing some of the amazing produce from the Sunshine Coast region.
