Join Luke (a space for being) & Brooke (sounds like you) for a transformative 2 hour spinal energetics and sound journey experience.

We will begin the evening promptly at 6:30pm with a guided meditation to drop into the space, then move into the spinal energetics and sound journey. Please arrive 10 mins prior to the start time to get set up.

This event is collaboration of two beautiful modalities, helping you to reconnect with your own innate healing wisdom, allowing your body to release, express and rebalance itself through light physical and energetic touch.

What is Spinal Energetics?

It is a practice that combines Eastern and Western thought, to interact with a person’s spine, nervous system and energetic field, to harness a person’s own innate wisdom to know and heal themselves.

Through light yet powerful touch (and often no touch), an organic flow of movement and sound begins and progresses to shift, unwind, discover and release tension, resistance, and stories that may have been stored in the body. The movements and sounds are natural and primordial, they are a response to the treatment and are driven by an individual's energy, intuition and instinct.

While you're experiencing spinal energetics, you'll be immersed in a range of sounds and frequencies from a range of instruments including:

432hz Crystal bowls
Tibetan bowls
Monolina
Koshi chimes
Native American Flute
And more

Finally, we will finish with some time for reflection and journalling and a sharing and connecting circle.

What to bring:

Yoga mat
Anything you need to get comfortable and cosy - ie. blanket, pillow, eye mask (optional)
Journal + pen

About Luke (@a.spaceforbeing)

Luke is a multi modality practitioner based in Bondi, Sydney. Deeply curious about what it means to be human, how we can heal and what it takes to live from a state of being, love, and our true nature. Luke has spent the last 15 years studying, practicing and experimenting with different modalities as he has journeyed through his own healing path. His work now consists of both cognitive and somatic healing, with Breathwork, Spinal Energetics & Self Inquiry being his current offerings.

About Brooke (@sounds_likeyou)

Brooke is a passionate sound facilitator based in Sydney, Australia. She fell in love with the world of sound healing after a long journey to realise that her sensitivity to sound could also be a great gift.

She has completed a Diploma of Sound Healing with Harmonic Sounds in Alicante, Spain, has studied the Level One Practitioner training with Sound Healing Australia and continues to learn from many sound healers internationally. She is passionate about creating a beautifully held, safe space for those journeying to be able to go deep into a meditative state, where transformative things can happen for the mind, body and spirit.

Contraindications

Due to the nature of this practice, there are some contraindications where this modality may not be appropriate. If you have any of the following conditions please get in contact before purchasing a ticket to ensure that this event is right for you.

Diagnosed Severe PTSD
Severe mental health conditions (bipolar, schizophrenia, psychosis)
Currently taking heavy medication that alters brain chemistry (anti-depressant, anti-anxiety, antipsychotic)
Recent physical injuries, fractures and/or surgeries
Epilepsy
History or diagnosis of aneurysms
Cardiovascular problems
History of seizures
Severe Asthma
Heart disease
Heart conditions
Hospitalisation for any psychiatric condition, emotional crisis, or spiritual emergence within the past three years
Any other medical, psychiatric or physical conditions that would impair or affect their ability to engage in activities involving intense physical and/or emotional release
