Event description

This four week journey will lead us into a world of ancestors, dreams

and symbology;

equally, this will be a journey of creativity and healing.

Each week we will gather in circle to create the next step in creating your spirit doll, building on from the previous week with sharing and exploring as we make.
When we reach Week Four you will have a completed your doll and you'll be newly connected to yourself through deep insights from your inner creative journey.

Here's the run down:-

Week One: we begin with creating intentions, exploring symbols and will create our first felted piece containing herbs and alike to hold and support us on this journey.

Week Two: we journey into the realm of the Grand Mother and Mother as we craft the structure and body of our doll.

Week Three: continuing to build on the structure of our doll we will be stitching in the cycle of life.

Week Four: In our final week we will be adding adornments, symbols and magical inclusions to close the journey.

Upon completion you will have the skills to craft any number of future dolls. You will have the foundations of calling in your spirit guides as well as the practical felting skills. This is but a tiny morsel of the journeying that can accompany spirit doll making.

My doll making began with my teacher Julia Inglis of Sacred Familiar and whom I credit for her remarkable wisdom and generosity in sharing her spirit doll making with the world.
