Celebrating Refugee Week 2025

FREE EVENT
Join us during Refugee Week for a heartwarming celebration of diversity and unity – a day filled with cross-cultural delights and family-friendly fun as we shine a spotlight on the incredible contributions refugees bring to their new homes.

SSI, Inner West Council and the Community Refugee Welcome Centre have proudly been hosting this event for several years. Locals and new arrivals alike join together to embrace welcome and enjoy cross-cultural performances, food and activities. 

Come by and enjoy:

  • For the first time, enjoy an art exhibition from refugee artists
  • Creative workshops and activities for kids and families
  • Global food stalls
  • Live music and dance performances
