The SVA Conference will be held in Geelong, Victoria, on 24-25 August 2026, spanning two full days of engaging industry-focused activities.
This year’s program includes a mix of distillery tours, hands-on workshops, and expert-led sessions designed for professionals and enthusiasts in the craft spirits industry. Delegates can expect immersive experiences exploring local distilleries, networking opportunities with peers, practical workshops on production and business topics, and social events to relax and connect.
Whether you’re looking to deepen your industry knowledge, discover new trends, or simply have a great time with fellow spirits producers and supporters, the conference offers a diverse and enjoyable agenda across both days.

Distillery Tours and workshops
We will depart the Novotel at 9:00am for a full day of connection, learning and regional exploration, returning with drop-off at The Black Sheep at 5:00pm. Throughout the day, we will be visiting: Corio Distillery, where we will explore the site’s rich history. Great Ocean Road Distillery, where we will participate in a Business Resilience workshop, focusing on adaptability and sustainable growth. Anther Distillery, Innovation – how to turn know how into revenue. Learn how Derv and Seb have taken what they know about the industry from cocktails to scaling distilleries and turned it into another business. Bellarine Distillery, where we will engage in a Tourism workshop, examining the role of local producers in strengthening the regional visitor economy. Lunch will be provided during the day. We look forward to an engaging and inspiring experience together.

Welcome Drinks for the conference at The Black Sheep The evening will proudly showcase local spirits, with a bespoke cocktail menu crafted from them. Light nibbles and some drinks provided.
