Spiritual Intelligence, what is it? why does it matter? how do I acquire it?
Event description
THIS IS A MENS PROGRAM
More and more people today do not consider themselves religious; but they do consider themselves spiritual.
In the 1990’s the term “Spiritual Intelligence” (SI) was coined, and is used by psychologists and philosophers to indicate spiritual parallels with intelligence quotient (IQ) and Emotional Quotient (EQ). Research has shown that there is a neurological and biological basis for SI, highlighting the plausibility of its
evolutionary adaptability, which supports SI’s validity as an intelligence with desirable outcomes.
Some of the principles underlying SI include qualities such as: self-awareness, compassion, acting from principles and deep beliefs, a sense of belonging, a sense of vocation, and more.
During this program we will explore Spiritual Intelligence: What it is, why it’s needed, and the ways in which we can develop and enhance our own SI.
