This special two-in-one event will create a space of connection and creativity around themes of dislocation, disorientation and rediscovering hope and grounding.
Spiritual Misfits Podcast is a space to explore faith and spirituality from the fringes.Â
Poems for When the World is Ending by Will Small is an evocative collection of poetry written between 2020-2022 exploring what it means to be human in a complex, turbulent and beautiful world.
This event will include a live episode recording of the Spiritual Misfits podcast as well as a book launch and poetry reading. The event will be structured as follows:
4pm: Misfits Meet-up &Â Live Episode Recording
Come meet fellow listeners to the Spiritual Misfits podcast in person and be in the room for a live episode recording featuring a panel conversation and opportunities for Q&A.
PANELISTS:Â Gregg Morris, Carlynne Nunn, Will Nicholas, Sally Douglas will explore the question: "Does Christianity actually have any good news to offer our world today?"
6:00pm: Book Launch Party
The podcast recording will be followed by a time of refreshments and connection, wrapping up with a live reading of selected poems from 'Poems for When the World is Ending.'
7:00pm:Â Dinner in Brunswick
Grab a group of friends (old or new)Â and wander down the street for dinner and connection in the heart of Brunswick.

This event is free, but booking is appreciated for planning purposes. If you would like to make a donation when booking, it will go directly back to supporting the Salvos work in the Inner North of Melbourne. Books will be available for purchase at the event for $20.
