Splash! is a FREE child and family-friendly event with a full-day community workshop session and an afternoon of entertainment.

Our community has the answers for how to achieve hopes and dreams for children in Logan. Join us on Friday 14 October 2022 to be heard and help shape the plan for making sure every child in Logan has the opportunity to shine, now and into the future.

Come for the full-day, or just for the afternoon of child-friendly fun!

9am-4pm: Community workshop session – shaping our plan for Logan’s children

During this full-day community workshop session we will be looking at:

Voices from Logan – we’ll be looking at what people in Logan have told us about their hopes and dreams for Logan’s children, and what we should be doing to make sure Logan’s children are happy and healthy for generations to come.
Information and data – we’ll be sharing data about what life is like for children 0-8 in Logan and asking you about what is important to measure to make sure we’re focused on the wellbeing of every child in Logan.
Evidence and impact – we’ll be looking at what we already know works in Logan for every child to have every opportunity to be the very best they can be, and asking you about what we should do next.

The sessions will be interactive. They will include community members, as well as people who work for service providers in Logan and for government.

We will use these sessions to understand what is most important to people in Logan and shape a collective plan for making sure every child in Logan has the opportunity to shine, now and into the future.

2pm-6pm: FREE child-friendly activities and entertainment

We’ll be celebrating Logan’s children all afternoon with FREE events, activities and more:

fun, interactive ways for everyone (adults and children) to let us know their hopes and dreams for Logan’s children
