Spoilsport Records presents…”Hey, Have You Heard These Bands Yet?”
Celebrating approximately three years as a label Spoilsport Records are finally lacing up their boots and pulling up their socks to present their first ever label show/festival/concert/recital at the Thornbury Bowls Club on October 8th.
Having slowly moved from hand dubbed tapes, to the vinyl world and while only having a few intrusive thoughts about a CD revival, Spoilsport has managed to establish itself as one of Melbourne’s best new independent labels in the last couple of years. So we’ve called upon some of Spoilsports best and fairest acts to celebrate.
After rigorous contract negotiations and a large chunk of the Spoilsport savings account we’re very excited to be pulling both Gutter Girls and The Vacant Smiles out of a lengthy hiatus, to join Spoilsport staples Carpet Burn, Delivery, Dragnet, Hooper Crescent and Quality Used Cars for a night of celebration and self-admiration.
