Spoken Word Poetry Workshop
Event description
Join some of New Zealand’s leading Spoken Word Poets for a free poetry workshop. This workshop for 14 - 18 year old's will introduce all participants to writing poetry for both the page and the stage and allow them to express their worldview. Every participant will walk away with a draft of a poem, tools for writing and performance, as well as a chance to share their work (NO PRESSURE). All levels of experience and communities welcome. Open to Poets, writers, MCs, or performers, etc.
