Accessibility info:
- Our venue is two story, with options for stairs or an elevator.
- We have two accessible toilets, one on each floor, as well as three other toilets available. All toilets are all-gender.
- There will be a dancefloor with a performance stage, a separate hangout space, and a staffed low-sensory space available for those who need it.
- We will have two Auslan interpreters present on the night, interpreting for the performers, speakers and MCs.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT SPOOKY BALL

To begin our evening, Gadigal elder and international drag royalty, Nana Miss Koori will welcome us to Country at 6:15 pm. We recommend all attendees arrive at the start of the night to experience this.   
We are so excited that Spooky Ball will showcase a number of amazing young LGBTIQA+ performers in the main hall. This will include musicians and drag artists. We will stagger these incredible performances while ensuring there are a few sets of bangers to get the dance floor pumping.  
Alongside the performances, we’ll keep you fuelled for dancing by providing a bunch of snacks, drinks and nourishing food (including gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options). Please feel free to bring your own food if that would make you more comfortable.  
This year we will be introducing a FASHION PARADE. If you would like to enter the fashion parade, strut your stuff down the catwalk and go in the running to win a little prize, please ask the door staff for a fashion parade ticket, and keep your number ready for the show. Fashion parade will be kicking off around 7:45pm.
Twenty10 staff will be roving, to check in and make sure everyone is going ok. If you aren’t feeling well or need accessibility assistance please find a staff member.  
You’ll be able to access a Spooky Stations, where you’re welcome to don some new clothes, place some colour in your hair or a spooky temporary tattoo! These will include a free spooky rack to try out some halloween looks for the night and take home an outfit; a hair chalking station; a non-toxic nail bar with temporary nail polish; and, a de-glam station for the end of the night to remove any make up, nail polish or hair chalk.
Spooky Ball is a one night only, celebration of queer youth, for LGBTIQA+ folks aged 12-19yo and their friends. Please Note: Spooky Ball is a drug and alcohol-free event. This includes no smoking or vapes. We will not have a smoking area, and there are no pass-outs available. Doors will close at 7:30pm, so attendees must arrive before this time to enter.  If you leave the venue, you will not be able to enter again.

SPOOKY BALL PHOTOGRAPHY

At Spooky Ball, we will have an official photobooth available for participants to take some fun photos and to keep! We'll also have an official event photographer taking photos on the night.

As part of our photography requirements, we need all attendees to complete this electronic photography consent form, including obtaining a carer/guardian signature if you are under 17:  https://twenty.snapforms.com.au/form/spookyball-photography-consent-2025

Photographic consent is not required to attend the event, but we do need you to complete this form, either way. To make your arrival at the event as smooth as possible, please have this form filled out prior to the event.  
Please Note: If you do not provide photographic consent, this is how we will ensure that we do not accidentally store/keep any photos of you:

Upon arrival at Glitter Ball, one of our staff will ask to take 1 single internal photo of your face on their work phone.

After the event, we will use this photo to cross check with our official photo album, and ensure that any photos that you are identifiable in, get permanently deleted.

Once this is done, we will also permanently delete this single internal photo.
